What Xiaomi AI Glasses are

Xiaomi AI Glasses are Xiaomi’s own AI smart glasses, sold under the Chinese name 小米AI眼镜. Xiaomi’s product page lives on its China store at mi.com/prod/xiaomi-ai-glasses, with a specifications page and a separate page of prescription-fitting notes beside it. The specifications are published in Chinese, as images, so we do not restate them here; if the hardware detail matters to you, read Xiaomi’s own page rather than a translation of a translation.

The price is on the same store. On September 25, 2026 Xiaomi listed the AI Glasses from ¥1,699, with other versions at higher prices. Those are yuan prices for delivery inside China.

One naming note, because it trips up searches. Mijiais a name Xiaomi uses across its smart-home and lifestyle range, and it turns up in searches as “Mijia AI glasses”; the store page itself names the product 小米AI眼镜, Xiaomi AI Glasses. Xiaomi’s Global site does sell a different eyewear product, the Xiaomi Smart Audio Glasses: 40 g, IP54, Bluetooth 5.2, 10 hours of listening and 7 hours of calls. Its published specification list has no camera. It is an audio frame, not the AI Glasses.

Where Xiaomi sells them

We checked Xiaomi’s own storefronts on September 25, 2026. The China store carries the AI Glasses. The Global, U.S. and UK sites had no AI Glasses product page, and the Global glasses category listed sunglasses and blue-light glasses only. Xiaomi can change that at any time, and if it launches the AI Glasses in your country, buy them from Xiaomi there. Until then, the practical position for a buyer in the U.S. or Europe is simple: any Xiaomi AI Glasses you can order are coming through a reseller or an import service, not from Xiaomi’s store in your market.

Importing one: what changes for a U.S. or European buyer

None of this says the glasses are bad. It says the purchase is a different kind of purchase. Four things to settle before you pay a reseller:

1. Language.Xiaomi’s product and specification pages are in Chinese. Ask the seller, in writing, what language the setup app, the voice assistant and the manual use on the unit you would receive.
2. Warranty. A product sold for one market is normally supported in that market. Ask Xiaomi support in your country whether it will service a unit bought from China, and ask the reseller what it will do if it will not.
3. Import costs.The yuan price is the price inside China. Shipping, the reseller’s margin and any import tax in your country sit on top of it.
4. Recording rules. Camera glasses are camera glasses wherever they were bought. Our recording laws by state guide covers the U.S. side.

If you are happy with those answers, an imported Xiaomi pair is a legitimate choice. If you would rather buy from a seller that ships to you directly, the rest of this page is the alternative.

Side by side

The table compares what each option publishes, by store and by support, because that is where these products differ most for a buyer outside China. Where a manufacturer has not published a figure in English, the cell says so rather than guessing.

Two rows count against us and we left them in. Xiaomi publishes prescription-fitting notes for its AI Glasses; OXIVUE frames do not offer prescription lenses, and our prescription guide says so. And the OXIVUE camera is 8 MP, built for eyeline photos and short clips, not a flagship.

What we write down that an import listing does not

We cannot tell you our frames beat Xiaomi’s hardware, because we have not read their Chinese spec sheet into our own numbers and will not pretend to. What we can do is publish the buying terms in English, in one place:

The frames themselves:

1. M02C — $159.The closest to what a Xiaomi AI Glasses shopper is after: about 41 g, IP65, an 8 MP camera with dual stabilisation, the “Hey Cyan” voice and visual assistant, 40+ languages, and three lens choices.
2. M08 — $149. About 42 g Italian TR90, 8 MP camera, 7 hours of listening and 4 of calls, Bluetooth 5.4, 40+ languages, sunglasses, clear or photochromic lenses.
3. M08C — $169. The M08 platform with Gold or Silver metal trim.
4. M14 — $199. A different frame, not a variant: a 52 g wrap shield, IPX4, stabilised 1080p on a Sony IMX219, 4 hours of listening and 7 of calls, 4 GB onboard memory and 139 languages. The sports guide sorts it by activity.

Bottom line

Xiaomi AI Glasses are a China-store product as of September 25, 2026. If you live in China, or you are comfortable importing and settling language and warranty with a reseller first, buy them. If you want camera glasses with an English app, shipped to you directly with a 2-year warranty, the OXIVUE M02C at $159 is the closest match and the M08 at $149 is the cheapest way in.
