Xiaomi AI Glasses price: what they cost, and whether you can buy them in the US
This guide answers two questions about the Xiaomi AI Glasses: how much each version costs, and whether a US buyer can get a pair. It gives the China launch prices from named outlets, the US-dollar prices one reseller lists today, what Xiaomi itself showed on its own sites when we could read them, and what to ask before you import. Every figure carries the date we checked it.

1. The Xiaomi AI Glasses price in China: three versions
Xiaomi AI Glasses launched in China at three prices. Road to VR, in its launch-day report of June 26, 2025 (checked October 31, 2026), listed the base model with clear lenses at ¥1,999 (about $280), the version with electrochromic shaded lenses at ¥2,699 (about $380) and the version with colored electrochromic lenses at ¥2,999(about $420). Those dollar figures are the outlet’s own approximate conversions from June 2025. Silicon UK, on June 30, 2025, gave the starting price as 1,999 yuan, which it converted to $279 or £203.
These are launch prices, sixteen months old. When we last read Xiaomi’s China store for our Xiaomi AI glasses alternatives guide on September 25, 2026, it listed the AI Glasses from ¥1,699. On October 31, 2026 Xiaomi’s pages returned an access error (HTTP 403) to our automated fetch, so we cannot give you today’s yuan figure. Check the maker’s site for the current price, and convert it at the day’s exchange rate rather than the June 2025 one.
What the launch coverage says the glasses are: a 40 g frame with a 12 MP camera, 2K video at 30 fps with electronic stabilisation, a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 chip with a separate Bluetooth audio chip, and a 263 mAh silicon-carbon battery that Xiaomi rates at 8.6 hours of mixed use (Road to VR). Silicon UK adds a 45-minute full recharge, per Xiaomi, and a voice assistant called XiaoAI that can trigger photos and video, identify objects and translate text, while the camera can scan QR codes to complete payments.
2. Can you buy Xiaomi AI Glasses in the US?
We found no announcement from Xiaomi of a US or global sale (checked October 31, 2026), and the only dollar-priced listing we could read was from a reseller. The evidence is thin enough that it helps to see each piece:
- At launch.Road to VR wrote that the glasses were launching in China that day, “although global availability is still in question at this time.” It also reported Xiaomi describing the frame as tuned for Asian face shapes, and suggested that might rule out a broader global launch for this version. Silicon UK (checked October 31, 2026) does not describe any sales outside China.
- Xiaomi’s own sites, September 25, 2026.Xiaomi’s Global, U.S. and UK home pages had no AI Glasses product, and the global glasses category listed only sunglasses and blue-light glasses. Our earlier guide has the URLs. On October 31, 2026 those pages refused our automated fetch, so we could not repeat the check. If you are deciding today, open Xiaomi’s US site yourself and search for the product.
- A different product. The Xiaomi Smart Audio Glasses on Xiaomi’s Global site (checked September 25, 2026) are a separate frame: 40 g, IP54, Bluetooth 5.2, 10 hours of listening, and no camera in the published spec list. Xiaomi has two glasses products with similar names, so check the name on any listing.
“Not announced” is a status, not a verdict. If Xiaomi opens a product page in your country, its price and warranty terms replace everything in the next section.
3. What a US reseller lists, in dollars
bludiode.com, a retailer that appears in Google’s results for this search, lists the AI Glasses in US dollars, and marked the variants it shows as “Available” on October 31, 2026. We matched its version names to Road to VR’s tiers by name and price order; confirm the version on the listing before you buy.
| Version | China launch price (Road to VR, June 26, 2025) | bludiode.com listing (October 31, 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Base model, clear lenses | ¥1,999 (about $280) | $331.99 (Black, Green, Brown) |
| Electrochromic, single colour | ¥2,699 (about $380) | $435.99 (Green listed) |
| Electrochromic, multiple colours | ¥2,999 (about $420) | $475.99 (Black, Brown, Green) |
Two readings from the table. The base listing is $331.99 against the $279 to $280 launch-day conversions, and we cannot say what the difference covers. And the electrochromic tiers cost noticeably more than the base model in both columns, so decide which lens version you want before comparing prices.
The listing also shows delivery of “Standard - 7 - 22 working days” or “Priority - 5 - 15 working days”, and its price line is followed by “+ possible tax”. An eBay listing ranks for the same search, but eBay refused our fetch (HTTP 403), so we quote nothing from it.
4. Before you import a pair: five questions
Buying a product the maker does not sell in your country moves several jobs onto you. These are the questions to settle before you pay, using the reseller listing above as the example.
- Is tax included? The listing shows “+ possible tax” after the price. Ask whether import duty and tax are in the price or billed to you on delivery.
- Who honours the warranty? The page states a 12-month warranty in one place and “up to 24 months” for selected products, subject to requirements, in another. Ask which applies to your version and where a claim is handled.
- What are the return terms? The same page lists “Possibility to return” as “No” in its table, and elsewhere shows “14 days returns” for addresses in the UK, Germany or the USA. Get the answer in writing.
- Which languages work?Silicon UK names XiaoAI as the voice assistant. The reseller listing says the glasses support “simultaneous interpretation in Chinese and 10 other languages” (checked October 31, 2026). That is the reseller’s description, and we did not read a language list from Xiaomi, so ask the seller which languages the assistant and its app support on your version before you rely on either outside China.
- Will it fit? Xiaomi described the frame as optimised for Asian face shapes (Road to VR). Ask for the frame dimensions and compare them with a pair you already wear.
None of this means a reseller is a bad choice. It means the checks that a maker’s own store would answer for you are yours to run.
5. For comparison: the OXIVUE M08, side by side
OXIVUE publishes this page and sells the M08, so weigh the right-hand column accordingly. The Xiaomi column uses only the launch coverage and reseller listing cited above; the OXIVUE column uses our product page.
| Xiaomi AI Glasses (launch coverage) | OXIVUE M08 | |
|---|---|---|
| Where sold | China at launch; no US or global sale announced that we found | 39 countries, including the contiguous US |
| Price | ¥1,999 to ¥2,999 at launch; $331.99 to $475.99 at one reseller | $99 at checkout (listed $149), one pair |
| Weight | 40 g (Road to VR); the reseller lists “weight 40g (without lens)” | ~42 g |
| Camera | 12 MP | 8 MP (sensor maker not published) |
| Battery rating | 8.6 hours of mixed use, per Xiaomi | 7 hours of listening, 4 hours of calls |
| Assistant and translation | XiaoAI voice assistant (Silicon UK); the reseller listing says “simultaneous interpretation in Chinese and 10 other languages” | Translation in 40+ languages through the companion app |
| Lenses | Clear base model; electrochromic versions cost more | Sun, photochromic or clear |
Read the battery row with care: “mixed use” and “listening time versus call time” are different measures, so the two figures are not a like-for-like comparison. The weight rows may not match either, because the reseller gives Xiaomi’s 40 g as “without lens” and we have not weighed either pair. The camera row is a spec-sheet difference, not a measure of picture quality, and we have not compared images from the two.
The M08 is $99 at checkout for one pair, with free shipping from $99. It comes with a sun, photochromic or clear lens; the photochromic lens darkens in UV light and turns close to clear indoors. Capture starts only when you touch the temple, and you should ask before recording people. It has no display, takes no prescription lenses and is not a Xiaomi product. If you want a voice-activated visual assistant, that is the M02C; OXIVUE does not publish which AI model powers the M02C’s voice-activated visual assistant.

Frequently asked questions
Are Xiaomi AI glasses real?
Yes. Road to VR reported on June 26, 2025 that Xiaomi was launching its AI Glasses in China that day, with a 12 MP camera and a 40 g frame, and Silicon UK covered the launch on June 30, 2025 (both checked October 31, 2026). What is less certain is where else they are sold, which is why this guide treats availability separately from the price.
Are Xiaomi AI glasses available in the US?
Not from Xiaomi that we could confirm. At launch Road to VR said global availability was in question. When we read Xiaomi's Global, U.S. and UK sites on September 25, 2026 they had no AI Glasses product page, and on October 31, 2026 those sites refused our automated fetch, so we could not recheck. We found no announcement of a US sale. A reseller, bludiode.com, lists them in US dollars (checked October 31, 2026).
How much do Xiaomi AI glasses cost?
At China launch: ¥1,999 for the base model, ¥2,699 and ¥2,999 for the two electrochromic versions, which Road to VR put at about $280, $380 and $420 (June 26, 2025). Xiaomi's China store listed them from ¥1,699 on September 25, 2026. A US-dollar reseller, bludiode.com, listed $331.99 to $475.99 on October 31, 2026. Check the maker's site for the current price, because yuan prices and reseller prices both change.
What should I check before importing a pair?
Five things: whether the price includes import tax or duty, who honours the warranty and where, what the seller says about returns in writing, which languages the voice assistant and app support on your version, and which lens version you are paying for. The reseller listing we read shows "+ possible tax" after the price and gives two different answers on returns, so get the terms confirmed before you pay.
How much do AI glasses cost?
On this page, from $99 at checkout for the OXIVUE M08 (listed $149) to $475.99 for the highest-priced Xiaomi version one reseller listed on October 31, 2026. Those are two examples, not the category. Our price-map guide sorts smart glasses by type, from audio-only frames to display glasses, and re-reads official store prices each month.
Are AI glasses worth buying?
Yes if you want photos, calls and translation from a glasses-style frame, and no if you expect a display or prescription lenses. OXIVUE frames have no display and take no prescription lenses, and a camera starts only when you touch the temple. Our worth-it guide sets out where smart glasses are worth it and where they are not.
Does Xiaomi make AI glasses?
Yes, and Xiaomi has two different glasses products. The AI Glasses have a 12 MP camera and launched in China in June 2025 (Road to VR and Silicon UK, checked October 31, 2026). The Xiaomi Smart Audio Glasses are a separate audio frame on Xiaomi's Global site: 40 g, IP54, Bluetooth 5.2 and 10 hours of listening, with no camera in the published spec list (checked September 25, 2026). Check the product name on any listing before you pay.

What these frames won’t do
- No prescription lenses yet, on any model. If you need vision correction all day, these can't replace your glasses.
- No display. Nothing appears in your view; you hear answers and capture photos and video.
- Open-ear speakers leak some sound at high volume and won't block out a loud train or a windy road the way sealed earbuds do.
- Translation, music, calls and the assistant need your phone nearby and connected. Translation pauses after each sentence, and only you hear the translated audio; the other person reads the reply on your phone.
- M08: no published water rating, so keep it out of heavy rain and spray.
Check these before you order: see the warranty and refund policy.
