Capture quality is better than I expected for 8 MP. Open-ear audio is polite; people can still hear me fine. Only half a star off because the magnetic charging case is sold separately — felt like it should have been included at this price.

I've tried the big-brand ones. They all look like wearables. The M08 looks like a pair of Italian acetates and that is the whole point. The camera is hidden well. Nobody at dinner noticed.

I use the live translation in meetings with overseas clients. Lag is there but acceptable. The barrier-free conversation mode saved an awkward coffee with a supplier last week. Would buy again.

I wear these every day. The visual AI is genuinely useful — I asked what a sign in Italian meant on a recent trip and it just answered. No phone, no translate app. Dual stabilization is also miles better than my old pair.

Beautiful product. My only note: if you have a wider face, try the M08A — the half-rim gives more room. Otherwise, the AI wake is responsive and the battery easily gets me through a workday of occasional use.

The directional speaker is the standout. I ride a packed commuter train and no one hears a thing. Voice summon works even with a mask on. This is the thoughtful version of the category.

I tested all three lenses on pre-production units. Photochromic wins. Sunglasses are gorgeous but single-use. Clear is fine. The photochromic just sits in more moods of light without you noticing.

Was skeptical. Most cheap watches feel like a plastic toy on the wrist. This one doesn't. The case has actual weight to it (not heavy, just not hollow), and the strap is softer than the silicone on my old Fitbit. Battery's been 6 days each charge, close enough to the 7 they claim. Heart rate is within 3-4 bpm of my Polar chest strap which is fine for me.

The watch itself is solid for $30. Display is crisp, battery is real, the gun metal one looks understated. My one gripe is the companion app - it crashed on me twice in the first week and the syncing was slow. Got better after an update. Wouldn't pay $200 for this but at $30 I'm not complaining.

Sounds ridiculous I know. But I was using my AW for like 3 things — time, heart rate, alarms — and charging it every night. This does those three things and I charge it once a week. The army green one is what I picked, looks great with hiking gear. Not as fancy obviously, but for what I actually use a watch for, it's enough.

Watch face and internals are great for the price. The strap though — mine started getting a bit loose at the keeper loop after 3 weeks. Not falling off, just not as tight as day one. Might just be how silicone breaks in. Otherwise fine, sleep and step tracking has been accurate, calls through the watch work.

I got the silver, he got the gun metal. We've been using them as a way to share our step counts (small competition going). Battery has been 7 days for me, 5 days for him because he uses the workout mode more. Sleep score showed me I was undersleeping by an hour each night - useful info I didn't know I needed.

Almost went with the gray to play it safe and I'm glad I didn't. The orange is bright but not loud - more like a warm coral than a traffic cone. Gets compliments at the gym. Watch itself: battery lasts about 5 days for me, heart rate seems accurate, calls work but the speaker is small (which I expected).

The battery on this thing is genuinely impressive. I'm at day 6 and still have 25% left. Heart rate, steps, sleep all reasonable. My only complaint is the companion app - it tracks the data but doesn't really do anything with it. No insights, no weekly summaries. Just raw numbers. Hoping that gets better with updates.

Bought the purple thinking it might look cheap. It doesn't - more of a deep aubergine than a pop purple. Goes with a lot. Round face wears smaller than the photos suggest, which I prefer. Sleep score helped me realize I was waking up at 4am every night and I didn't know it.

I have a small wrist (6 inch) and was worried this would slip around. It doesn't - the strap has enough holes that I'm in the middle range. Gray was a good neutral pick. Took a star off because the watch lost connection to my phone a few times in the first week and I had to re-pair it. Hasn't happened in the last month though.

Had the square 54CJ for a couple months and was happy with it. Reserved this one because I prefer the look of a round dial. AMOLED is a real upgrade - colors pop, always-on is readable in sunlight. The silver finish is more brushed than polished, which I like. Worth the $50.

The 185C is noticeably heavier than the square models - about 36g vs 32g. At first I thought I'd find it annoying but actually it feels more substantial on the wrist, less like a fitness band and more like a watch. One point off because always-on display does eat the battery faster than they advertise - I'm getting 5 days, not 7.

Photos don't do the brushed aluminum bezel justice. In person it has a subtle gradient where the brushing catches light. Picked the gun metal - looks darker and more refined than I expected. The reserve process was straightforward, shipped within a week of confirmation. Pairing took maybe 30 seconds.

I've had Garmins for years. The Forerunner does more, sure, but I realized I only used 10% of its features. The 185C does the parts I actually use - heart rate, sleep, GPS-tagged outdoor runs, calls. Battery comparable. Watch is lighter and looks better in non-running settings. Glad I switched.

AMOLED display is genuinely beautiful. Battery is honest at about 6 days for me with always-on off. My three stars are because the software still feels like a 1.0 - some animations stutter, occasionally a notification doesn't come through, app sync can be slow. It'll get better with updates I'm sure, but at launch it's a bit rough.

The silver one in the photos caught me. In person it doesn't disappoint - more of a polished steel look than the photos suggest. Wears under a cuff fine. Sensors are accurate, AMOLED is crisp in any light, magnetic charger snaps on properly. Only thing I'd change is the band material - silicone is fine but I'd buy a leather option in a heartbeat.
