The first production OXIVUE. Light enough to forget. Sharp enough to catch what you almost missed.
Three lenses. One frame. Seven hours of quiet readiness. The M08 is what Oliver wore the day he finally saw his daughter take a step. Wear it to the park. Wear it to the birthday. Wear it while you make breakfast and she walks across the kitchen floor. When she does, all you have to do is look.
A pair of 42-gram TR90 Italian frames. An 8-megapixel camera, hidden behind the bridge. Open-ear audio that leaves your ears free for the room. And a single touch that records — or doesn't. Because always on is not what a pair of glasses was ever supposed to be.
We were already in the kitchen when she went. A single touch and it was on a card I pulled off that night. The frame is so light I actually forgot I was wearing it. The only reason I didn't miss the moment is because the M08 was already there.
Went from the house, to the car, to a lunch on the terrace, to a museum. Never took them off. The tint transition is smooth enough that I stopped thinking about it. Battery held for a full day of casual shots.
Capture quality is better than I expected for 8 MP. Open-ear audio is polite; people can still hear me fine. Only half a star off because the magnetic charging case is sold separately — felt like it should have been included at this price.
I've tried the big-brand ones. They all look like wearables. The M08 looks like a pair of Italian acetates and that is the whole point. The camera is hidden well. Nobody at dinner noticed.
I use the live translation in meetings with overseas clients. Lag is there but acceptable. The barrier-free conversation mode saved an awkward coffee with a supplier last week. Would buy again.
