Where to buy Meta glasses: every official channel, and what changes between them.

Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta glasses are sold in more places than most products, and the place you buy decides how you get prescription lenses, whether you can try them first, and who handles a return. This guide lists only the channels Meta names on its own pages, read on September 30, 2026, explains the differences, and ends with refurbished pairs and cheaper glasses. We do not track store stock, so treat availability as something to confirm with the store.

Where to buy Meta glasses: the official channels

Ray-Ban Meta glasses carry two brands, Meta’s and Ray-Ban’s, which is why there are two first-party stores rather than one. On its Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 product FAQ, Meta answers “where can I buy” with both:

  • meta.com (the Meta Store).Every current Meta frame, including Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, Meta-branded styles such as Adventurer and the Meta Ray-Ban Display, plus Meta’s own refurbished pairs.
  • Ray-Ban.com, official Ray-Ban stores and certified Ray-Ban dealers, online and in store, for Ray-Ban Meta.
  • Certified Meta retailers, which Meta lists on its “Find authorized retailers” page (next section).
  • Meta Lab stores, Meta’s own shops in the US, where you can try and buy.

So the short answer to “where can I buy Meta glasses?” is: from Meta, from Ray-Ban, or from a store Meta names. If you are deciding which model first, our Meta glasses price list has every frame in one table.

Where to buy Ray-Ban Meta glasses: retailers Meta lists in the US

This is Meta’s own US list from its retailer page on September 30, 2026. The Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta and Meta Glasses tabs showed the same US names. We have not checked what any of them has in stock, and Meta notes that the list covers select retailers.

Meta’s retailer page also links to LensCrafters and Sunglass Hut, and its prescription help page points to “participating certified retailers” for prescription orders, so optical shops are the route if you need lenses fitted in person. Outside the US the list changes completely: in the UK it includes Argos, Currys and John Lewis, in Canada Best Buy Canada and Staples, and in Australia JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman.

Can I buy Meta glasses in a store? Meta Lab and demos

Yes. Meta’s Meta Lab page listed 11 US locations on September 30, 2026: flagship stores in New York City (Fifth Avenue) and Los Angeles (West Hollywood), plus Moynihan Train Hall in New York, American Dream in New Jersey, Tysons Corner in Virginia, Houston, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Burlingame and two in Honolulu (Ala Moana and Waikiki). Meta’s FAQ says that in the US, Meta Lab is where to try Ray-Ban Meta on; elsewhere it points to the Ray-Ban.com store locator.

For any other store, Meta’s demo finder at meta.com/demo searches by address for places where you can try products in person. Two details from Meta’s terms are useful: some meta.com orders can be picked up at a Meta Lab, and you must collect within seven days with photo ID and your order number; and some deliveries may require a signature. For the $799 Meta Ray-Ban Display, Meta recommends, but does not require, an in-person fitting and demo, and warns that inventory is very limited.

What changes depending on where you buy

The glasses are the same everywhere. What differs is the paperwork around them. Here is what Meta’s own pages say for each channel; for third-party stores, the store’s own policy decides.

Warranty follows the product rather than the store. Meta’s Gen 2 spec table says EssilorLuxottica warrants the glasses for 12 months from purchase, while its FAQ says the warranty runs one or two years depending on the country of purchase. Either way, keep your receipt and the serial number, because a claim needs both.

Where are Meta glasses available?

Meta’s “AI glasses supported countries” page listed 17 on September 30, 2026: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the contiguous United States plus Alaska and Hawaii. Its Gen 2 FAQ adds Japan for purchases on Ray-Ban.com. That list lags behind the launches: Meta’s retailer page also names stores in India, Japan, Mexico and South Korea, and Meta’s September 23, 2026 announcement said Meta Glasses were launching that day in Singapore, South Korea, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates, with more countries later in the year. Buying in a country that is not supported, or importing a pair, risks features that do not work where you live: Meta says some Meta AI features are only in select countries and languages, and the glasses need the Meta AI app and a Meta account to run at all.

Meta glasses for sale: refurbished and discounted pairs

The cheapest official Meta glasses are not new. Meta’s refurbished store listed these on September 30, 2026, described as like-new and backed by a one-year limited warranty:

Pair (meta.com, US)Price on September 30, 2026
Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer (Gen 1), refurbishedFrom $197
Ray-Ban Meta Skyler (Gen 1), refurbishedFrom $227
Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer or Skyler (Gen 1), newFrom $224 on sale (listed at $299)

Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 (Wayfarer, Skyler, Headliner)From $379
Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 (Wayfarer, Aviator, Zena)From $449

Sale prices and refurbished stock change without notice, and the Gen 1 Skyler colours were showing out of stock on meta.com when we checked. Our refurbished Meta glasses guide covers what a refurbished pair includes, and cheap Meta glasses covers every other way to pay less.

Before you buy Meta glasses: a checklist

  1. Buy from a channel Meta names.meta.com, Ray-Ban, Meta Lab or a retailer on Meta’s list. On a marketplace, check who the seller actually is.
  2. Check the generation. Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 3 can share a frame name. Meta lists Gen 1 at up to 4 hours of battery and Gen 2 at up to 8 hours.
  3. Decide on prescription first. If you need it, buy where lenses can be ordered (meta.com, Ray-Ban or a participating optical retailer), and check the range for your frame.
  4. Make sure a used pair is unpaired. Meta says glasses pair with one Meta account at a time and must be factory reset before someone else can pair them.
  5. Read the store’s return policy. Returns follow the store you bought from, not Meta, unless you bought on meta.com.
  6. Keep the receipt and serial number for any warranty claim.

Cheaper glasses that aren’t Meta

If what you want is a camera, open-ear music and calls, and translation, and you do not need Meta AI, prescription lenses or a display, there is a cheaper tier. OXIVUE frames are sold on oxivue.com, ship in 5 to 9 business days in the US and 9 to 14 business days internationally after shipment, with free shipping from $99. They pair with the free HeyCyan app: a free sign-up, but no Meta or social-media account and no subscription.

FramePriceWeightCameraTranslation
OXIVUE M08$149~42 g8 MP40+ languages
OXIVUE M02C$159~41 g, IP658 MP, Sony 21940+ languages
OXIVUE M08C$169~42 g8 MP, Sony IMX21940+ languages
OXIVUE M14$19952 g, IPX48 MP, Sony IMX219139 languages

Translation is heard only by the wearer, through the open-ear speakers. There is no display in any OXIVUE lens, we do not supply prescription lenses, and we do not offer change-of-mind refunds; the only exception is damage in transit. Each frame has a 2-year warranty. The full feature-by-feature comparison is in Ray-Ban Meta alternatives and on our compare page.

Bottom line

Where to buy Meta glasses comes down to one rule: buy from a channel Meta names, meaning meta.com, Ray-Ban, Meta Lab, or a retailer on Meta’s own list such as Best Buy, Target, Walmart or a carrier store. Choose the channel by what you need: prescription lenses point to meta.com, Ray-Ban or an optical retailer; trying them on points to Meta Lab or the demo finder; the lowest price points to Meta’s refurbished store. If you do not need Meta AI or prescription lenses, the OXIVUE M08 at $149 gives you an 8 MP camera, open-ear audio and 40+ language translation (currently $50 off one pair at checkout, applied automatically).

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy Meta glasses in a store?

Yes. In the US, Meta lists its own Meta Lab stores, including flagships in New York City and Los Angeles, plus retailers such as Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. Meta's demo finder at meta.com/demo shows stores where you can try them. Stock varies by store, so check with the store before you travel.

Where sells Meta glasses in store?

Meta's authorized-retailer page for the US names Amazon, AT&T, Best Buy, B&H, HSN, Inmotion, Micro Center, QVC, Target, T-Mobile, TikTok Shop, Verizon and Walmart, alongside Meta Lab. Some of those are online-only. Meta's product FAQ adds official Ray-Ban stores and certified Ray-Ban dealers for Ray-Ban Meta.

Where are Meta glasses available?

Meta's help center lists 17 supported countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the contiguous US plus Alaska and Hawaii. Meta's Gen 2 FAQ says Ray-Ban.com also sells them in Japan. Some Meta AI features are only available in select countries and languages.

Can I buy Meta glasses with prescription lenses?

Yes, through three routes Meta names: add prescription lenses when you order on meta.com, order them from Ray-Ban.com, or go to a participating certified retailer. Meta lists the range for Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 as -12.00 to +6.00 SPH+CYL; some frames, such as the Gen 3 Aviator, have a narrower range. You need a valid prescription.

Does Amazon sell real Meta glasses?

Amazon is on Meta's own list of authorized US retailers. As with any marketplace, check who the seller is before you buy, because a listing sold by a third party is not the same as one sold by the retailer itself, and returns and warranty follow the store you bought from.

Is it worth buying the Meta glasses?

If you want Meta AI, tight WhatsApp, Instagram and Spotify integration and prescription lenses, Meta's glasses are the only way to get all of it, from $224 for a Gen 1 pair on sale to $799 for the Display on meta.com on September 30, 2026. If you mainly want a camera, open-ear audio and translation without a Meta account, glasses like the $149 OXIVUE M08 cost less.

Are refurbished Meta glasses worth it?

Meta sells its own refurbished Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 pairs, Wayfarer from $197 and Skyler from $227 on September 30, 2026, described as like-new and backed by a one-year limited warranty. They are first-generation glasses, so check the Gen 1 battery and video specs against Gen 2 before deciding the saving is worth it.
