Meta Capri glasses: price, lenses and fit, as Meta lists them.
The Meta Capri glasses are the cat-eye style in the Meta Glasses line. Every Meta price, lens name and fit option on this page was read off meta.com on October 31, 2026, and the one camera line is Meta's own description of its German page as Google shows it. Meta's Capri pages do not describe battery life, weight or measurements, so this guide also says what is not described, then where OXIVUE fits. We have not tested the Capri.

1. What is the Meta Capri?
The Meta Capri is a style of Meta Glasses, a line that Meta’s September 23, 2026 blog post says it launched earlier this year in partnership with EssilorLuxottica. Meta’s product page is titled “Meta Capri AI Glasses - Cat-Eye Frame” and shows a “New” label (meta.com, checked October 31, 2026). The same blog post names the Capri, alongside the Nova, as one of “two new styles” added to the collection.
On camera and audio, the only wording we found from Meta for this style is its description of the German Capri page as it appears in Google’s results (checked October 31, 2026). Translated, it says the Capri is a cat-eye frame with built-in Meta AI, 3K video, a 12 MP camera and open-ear audio. The product pages we read do not describe any camera, video, battery or weight figures, so treat that one line as the headline claim and nothing more.
Meta also sells a Capri LISA Edition, which its blog calls “an Eclipse cat-eye frame with grey lenses”, with LISA Edition styles starting at $399. Everything below is the US store unless it says otherwise, and every Meta figure is Meta’s own and dated. We have not tested the Capri, so this guide says nothing about how it performs.
2. Meta Capri price by version
The six versions on Meta’s Capri page run from $299 to $399 on meta.com depending on the lens and edition (checked October 31, 2026). Meta prices each frame-and-lens combination on its own page, so the table lists the six combinations in the order Meta’s colour selector shows them, each price read from that version’s own page.
| Frame and lens | Price on meta.com (US) | How we checked it |
|---|---|---|
| Espresso Tortoise, Clear | $299 | Variant page read |
| Classic Black, Grey | $299 | Variant page read |
| Espresso Tortoise, Brown (labelled Polarized) | $329 | Variant page read |
| Crimson, Chocolate (labelled Polarized) | $329 | Variant page read |
| Classic Black, Clear to Grey Transitions® | $379 | Variant page read |
| Eclipse, Grey (Capri LISA Edition) | $399 | Variant page read; Meta’s blog also says LISA Edition styles start at $399 |
On the versions we read, the two pairs labelled Polarized (Crimson with Chocolate, Espresso Tortoise with Brown) are $30 above the $299 clear and grey pairs, and the Transitions pair is $80 above the Grey pair in the same Classic Black frame. Meta’s German store showed the Capri at 309 € on the same day, with a monthly instalment offer beside it, so buyers outside the US should open their own country’s store rather than convert dollars.
Each US page also shows a monthly figure, for example “from $24.92/month at 0% APR” on the $299 pairs and “from $31.58/month” on the Transitions pair. That is a financing offer shown beside the price; the terms behind it were not in the text we read, so check them with Meta. The pages also carry “Free delivery” and “Warranty” labels, and the text we read gives no terms for either, so read both at checkout.
Retailers list the Capri as well, and Best Buy appears in Google’s results for this search. We could not read retailer pages, so this guide quotes meta.com only; check a retailer’s own listing for its price and its terms. For how the Capri sits among every current Meta model, see how much Meta glasses cost.
3. Capri lenses: clear, grey, brown, polarized and Transitions
Meta uses five lens names across the six Capri versions: Clear, Grey, Brown, Chocolate and “Clear to Grey Transitions®” (meta.com, checked October 31, 2026). The Crimson frame with Chocolate lenses and the Espresso Tortoise frame with Brown lenses are the two labelled “Polarized” on the pages we read, each at $329. The Classic Black frame comes with two lens versions, Grey at $299 and Clear to Grey Transitions® at $379, so the lens alone moves that frame by $80.
The Capri pages do not describe the lenses beyond their names and the Polarized label on two versions. They state no UV rating, tint depth or light transmission, and the Transitions page does not say what the lens does beyond what its name says. If any of that matters to you, ask Meta or check the lens detail at checkout before you pay.
Choose by what you want from the lens. By their names, Clear is the untinted lens and Grey, Brown and Chocolate are coloured ones, and Transitions® is the pair whose name says it goes from clear to grey; on the pages we read it costs $80 more than the Grey pair in the same frame. For how clear lenses compare across Meta’s whole range, see clear Meta glasses.
Prescription is only partly answered. Meta’s September 23, 2026 blog post says the Capri LISA Edition and the Adventurer LISA Edition “support prescriptions” (checked October 31, 2026). The Capri product pages we read do not describe a prescription range or how to order prescription lenses. Our Meta glasses prescription guide records the styles and ranges Meta published on September 30, 2026, so confirm your Capri version on meta.com before you order.
4. Sizes and fit: Standard, High bridge and Low bridge
Meta shows the Capri with a “Standard” fit and a “High bridge” fit, and the product page summarises it as “Standard & High bridge” (checked October 31, 2026). The Capri LISA Edition page offers “Standard & Low bridge” instead and shows no High bridge option. Meta’s German page lists the main pair as “Standard” and “Hoher Steg”, which is High bridge.
The pages link a Size guide and a Fit guide and offer a “Try on virtually” option. As we read them, the pages give no lens width, bridge width, temple length or weight, and we could not read the guides themselves. That makes the frame measurements something to get from Meta before ordering, not after.
A simple check without them: frames usually have three numbers printed inside the arm (lens width, bridge width and temple length, in millimetres). Find those on a pair you already wear comfortably and compare them with the figures in Meta’s Size guide. Bridge fit is the one Meta splits into separate options, so read its Fit guide before choosing between Standard and High bridge. For choosing by lens width, bridge and temple length rather than by label, see smart glasses for women.
5. What Meta’s Capri pages state, and what they do not
The Capri pages are mostly a configurator: colours, lenses, price, fit options and a buy button. The table separates what we found stated from what we did not (checked October 31, 2026). “Not stated” means the page we read does not describe it; it does not mean the Capri lacks it.
| Item | What Meta states |
|---|---|
| Frame shape | Cat-eye: the page title is “Meta Capri AI Glasses - Cat-Eye Frame” |
| Camera and video | 12 MP camera and 3K video, in Meta’s description of its German page as shown in Google’s results; no figures on the product pages we read |
| Audio and AI | Open-ear audio and built-in Meta AI, same description |
| Price | $299 to $399 (US); 309 € (Germany) |
| Sizes | “Standard & High bridge”; LISA Edition “Standard & Low bridge”; no measurements |
| Lenses | Clear, Grey, Brown and Chocolate (the last two labelled Polarized), Clear to Grey Transitions® |
| In the box | “Items included” image text on the page names a Meta charging case, the glasses and a getting started guide |
| Battery life | Not stated on the pages read |
| Weight | Not stated |
| Prescription lenses | Meta’s September 23 blog says the Capri LISA Edition supports prescriptions; the Capri pages read give no range or ordering steps |
| Water resistance | Not stated |
| Warranty | A “Warranty” label; no length or terms in the text we read |
Do not borrow another style’s numbers for the Capri. Our Meta Adventurer guide, read off meta.com on September 30, 2026, shows the kind of spec sheet Meta publishes for that style, but a figure on one style’s page is not a figure for another. Where a number matters to you, such as battery, weight, water resistance or prescription range, get it from Meta’s Capri page or Meta support before ordering.
6. Before you order a Capri
- Choose the lens first. On the six versions we read the price runs $299 (clear or grey), $329 (the two labelled Polarized, Chocolate or Brown), $379 (Transitions) and $399 (LISA Edition).
- Check the bridge option. The main versions are “Standard & High bridge” and the LISA Edition is “Standard & Low bridge”. Use Meta’s Size guide, Fit guide and virtual try-on before you pay.
- Confirm prescription support. If you wear a prescription, ask Meta or the retailer whether your Capri version takes it and in what range. Meta’s September 23 post says the LISA Edition does; the Capri pages we read give no range.
- Read the terms behind the labels. The pages show “Free delivery” and “Warranty” with no detail, so warranty length, delivery times and return terms are for you to confirm at checkout.
- Use your own country’s store. Germany showed 309 € on the same day, and your store may list different versions or prices.
- Ask about Mix & Match.Meta’s September 23 post says any pair of Meta Glasses can now be customized through its Mix & Match program. The Capri pages we read do not describe it, so check what it covers and costs before assuming a custom colour is available.
7. Where OXIVUE fits, and where it does not
OXIVUE publishes this guide and sells the frames below, so weigh this section accordingly. The OXIVUE M08 is not a replacement for a Capri. It has no Meta AI, no display and no prescription lenses, and our product pages do not describe any OXIVUE frame as cat-eye, so if that shape is the point, judge the frames on the product pages yourself.
What it is: a pair of open-ear camera glasses with an 8 MP camera, microphones and speakers, about 42 g, rated for 7 hours of listening and 4 hours of calls. It is $99 at checkout (listed $149) for one pair, and two or more pairs in one order are 50% off all eyewear. The lens comes as sun, photochromic or clear; the photochromic lens darkens in UV light and turns close to clear indoors.

Translation on the M08 runs through the free companion app on your phone: you hear the translated audio, and the other person reads the reply on the phone screen. See the translation page for how it works. A capture starts only with a touch on the temple, and you should ask before recording people and follow local law. Frequently asked questions
How much are Meta Capri glasses?
From $299 on meta.com in the US (checked October 31, 2026). The Capri with clear or grey lenses is $299, the two versions Meta labels Polarized (Crimson with Chocolate lenses, Espresso Tortoise with Brown lenses) are $329, the Clear to Grey Transitions version is $379 and the Capri LISA Edition is $399. Meta's German store showed the Capri at 309 €. Monthly figures beside the prices are financing offers, and prescription lens pricing is not described on the pages we read.
Are Meta Capri glasses cat-eye?
Yes. Meta's product page is titled “Meta Capri AI Glasses - Cat-Eye Frame”, and its September 23, 2026 blog post describes the Capri LISA Edition as “an Eclipse cat-eye frame with grey lenses”. The frame colours are Espresso Tortoise, Classic Black and Crimson, plus Eclipse for the LISA Edition. The pages we read give no frame measurements, so use Meta's Size guide to judge how the shape sits on your face.
What sizes do Meta Capri glasses come in?
Meta lists the Capri as “Standard & High bridge” and the Capri LISA Edition as “Standard & Low bridge” (meta.com, checked October 31, 2026). The pages link a Size guide and a Fit guide and offer a virtual try-on, but the text we read gives no lens width, bridge width, temple length or weight. Get those from Meta's guides, then compare them with a frame you already wear comfortably.
Do Meta Capri glasses have a camera?
Yes, according to Meta's own description of its German Capri page: a 12 MP camera and 3K video, with built-in Meta AI and open-ear audio (as shown in Google's results, checked October 31, 2026). The product pages we read (checked October 31, 2026) do not describe camera, battery, weight or water-resistance figures, so confirm any number you need with Meta before you rely on it.
Can you get Meta Capri glasses with prescription lenses?
Meta says yes for the Capri LISA Edition. Its September 23, 2026 blog post says the Capri LISA Edition and the Adventurer LISA Edition “support prescriptions” and start at $399 (checked October 31, 2026). The Capri product pages we read do not describe a prescription range or how to order, so confirm both with Meta or the retailer before you pay, and read our guide to prescription Meta glasses for what Meta publishes about other styles. None of OXIVUE's frames take prescription lenses.
Where can I buy Meta Capri glasses?
On meta.com, from $299 in the US (checked October 31, 2026). Meta also runs country stores, and its German store showed 309 €. Best Buy appears in Google's results for this search as well. We could not read retailer pages, so check the retailer's own listing for its price, delivery and return terms rather than assuming it matches Meta's.
Is there a lower-priced alternative to the Meta Capri?
Yes, if you can do without Meta AI. The OXIVUE M08 is $99 at checkout (listed $149): an 8 MP camera, open-ear speakers, about 42 g, and a sun, photochromic or clear lens. It is a different product, not a like-for-like swap: no Meta AI, no display, no prescription lenses, and you should check its frame shape on the product page. Two or more pairs are 50% off all eyewear.

What these frames won’t do
- No prescription lenses yet, on any model. If you need vision correction all day, these can't replace your glasses.
- No display. Nothing appears in your view; you hear answers and capture photos and video.
- Open-ear speakers leak some sound at high volume and won't block out a loud train or a windy road the way sealed earbuds do.
- Translation, music, calls and the assistant need your phone nearby and connected. Translation pauses after each sentence, and only you hear the translated audio; the other person reads the reply on your phone.
- M08: no published water rating, so keep it out of heavy rain and spray.
Check these before you order: see the warranty and refund policy.
