The price, in the currency you pay

Every OXIVUE price is set in US dollars, and checkout charges in US dollars. Your bank or card issuer converts the charge into euros or pounds at its own rate on the day, sometimes with a foreign-transaction fee on top. We do not print a euro or sterling price on this page, because any figure we picked would be one exchange rate out of date by the time you read it. The honest method is to take the dollar number below, put it through your own card’s converter, and then add your country’s VAT.

The list prices are the M08 at $149, the M02C at $159, the M08C at $169 and the M14 at $199. While the New-Vision Event runs, a single pair of eyewear is $50 off at checkout, and two or more pairs are half price each; watches are not part of it. Shipping is free on orders from $99, which every frame reaches even at the event price for EU, UK and Norwegian addresses. Switzerland ships at a flat US$20 and the free-shipping threshold does not apply (see shipping policy).

The two VAT columns are plain arithmetic on the checkout price, shown in dollars so you can see the size of it: 21% is the standard rate in Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium and several others, and 27% is Hungary’s, the highest in the EU. Customs works in your own currency at its own rate, and the carrier’s handling fee comes on top, so treat the column as the floor of what you pay at the door, not the ceiling.

EU: import VAT on delivery

The EU’s Your Europe portal puts the rule in one line: if you buy goods online from outside the EU, VAT, customs and excise duty is always due. Who hands the money to the tax office depends on the seller. A seller registered for EU VAT charges it at checkout; OXIVUE is not registered for EU VAT, adds no EU VAT at checkout, and so the carrier collects import VAT from you, plus its own handling fee, before it releases the parcel. That is not a hidden fee on our side — it is the absence of one line at checkout that reappears at your door.

The rate is your country’s standard VAT rate. As listed by Your Europe (last checked 13 July 2026), the range across the 27 member states runs from 17% in Luxembourg to 27% in Hungary. Germany is 19%; France is 20%; Spain and the Netherlands are 21%; Italy is 22%; Ireland, Poland and Portugal are 23%; Denmark and Sweden are 25%; Finland is 25.5%.

Two practical consequences. First, compare like with like: a European shop’s shelf price already includes VAT, our dollar price does not. Second, have the payment ready, because the carrier collects the import charges before it hands the parcel over.

UK: a different rule at £135

Since leaving the EU, the UK splits imports at a value of £135. According to GOV.UK, for goods worth £135 or less that you bought yourself, the seller includes the VAT in the total you pay, and there is no customs duty on non-excise goods. For goods worth more than £135, you pay VAT to the delivery company before delivery or when you collect, charged on the total package value including postage, and customs duty depends on the type of goods and where they came from. Royal Mail, Parcelforce or the courier contacts you with a bill stating exactly which fees are due.

OXIVUE does not add UK VAT at checkout either — no VAT is collected for any country at checkout — so do not assume the dollar total already includes it. Our prices are in dollars, so which side of £135 a UK order falls on depends on the exchange rate and on how many frames are in the basket. If any charge is due, Royal Mail, Parcelforce or the courier contacts you with a bill before delivery, as GOV.UK describes. Buying in a European shop vs ordering from us

The real choice for most readers is not between two brands; it is between buying from a shop that sells inside Europe and importing a pair yourself. This is what each route means, row by row.

The dollar price is the reason to import; the VAT and the handling fee are the cost of doing it. If the frame you want is sold by a shop in your country at a price you are happy with, that route is simpler. If it is not — or if what you want is a camera frame with no platform account and no subscription — do the sum in the first table, add your rate, and decide with the whole number in front of you. Route and delivery time

There is no OXIVUE warehouse in the EU or the UK. Every European order is picked, inspected and handed to the carrier within 1–2 business days of payment, and international transit is typically 9–14 business days after shipment. Some destinations take longer because of local customs handling, and the customs step is exactly where the VAT collection happens, so a parcel that sits in clearance for a day or two is behaving normally. The tracking link arrives by email the moment the carrier collects the parcel, and the same link is in your OXIVUE account.

If the parcel arrives damaged in transit, email orders@oxivue.com within 7 days of the delivery scan with your order number and photos of the item and the packaging, and we replace it or refund it, as the return policy sets out. Your statutory rights — and our policy

OXIVUE does not offer refunds. The one exception is an order that arrives damaged in transit, which is replaced or refunded. Faults after delivery are handled under the 2-year warrantyby repair or replacement, not refund. Change of mind, fit, and features not matching your expectations are not refundable. Statutory rights where you live still apply, and in Europe they are substantial, so here they are in the regulators’ own terms.

• EU right of withdrawal. For goods bought online, Your Europe says you can cancel within 14 days from the date of delivery without giving any reason.
• EU legal guarantee. If goods turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised, the seller must repair or replace them at no cost, and you always have a minimum 2-year legal guarantee from the moment you received them; where repair or replacement is not possible, you are entitled to a full or partial refund.
• UK distance selling. GOV.UK says online buyers can tell the seller within 14 days of receiving an item that they want to cancel, and then have another 14 days to send it back, without giving a reason.

Where those rights apply to you, they apply on top of our return policy, and return postage for a cancellation is arranged and paid by you. Bottom line

A US-priced frame can be the cheaper way into camera AI glasses in Europe, but only once you add your country’s VAT and the carrier’s fee to the dollar price. The OXIVUE M08 is the lowest entry: $149, or $99 as a single pair during the New-Vision Event, 42 g, 40+ translation languages. The M02C at $159 adds IP65, a 41 g frame and the Hey Cyan visual assistant, and the M14 at $199is the wrap shield with 139 languages and 4 GB of onboard memory. Whichever you pick, check the dollar figure against your card’s rate, add your VAT, and have the delivery payment ready.
