What are the Kylie Jenner Meta glasses?

On June 23, 2026, Meta and EssilorLuxottica launched a new line called Meta Glasses, sold under Meta’s own name rather than Ray-Ban or Oakley. It arrived in three frame styles: the rectangular Meta Adventurer, the bold Meta Fury, and what Meta’s announcement called Meta Glasses by Kylie, “a unique slim oval frame designed in collaboration with Kylie Jenner and inspired by her personal style.” On Meta’s store the same pair is listed as Starfire Kylie Edition, which is why people search for both “Kylie meta glasses” and “Starfire meta glasses.”

Underneath the styling it is a full Meta camera pair, not a fashion-only frame: a 12 MP camera, open-ear speakers, six microphones and Meta AI, with no display in the lens. Meta describes it as “the first-ever AI glasses designed with Kylie Jenner.” If you are new to the platform, what Meta glasses do covers the basics.

How much are the Kylie Meta glasses? Price and colors

Meta’s store listed four Starfire colorways on September 30, 2026. Three cost the same; the Transitions lens is the upcharge.

FrameLensPrice on meta.com
Classic BlackBlack sun lens$399
Dark TortoiseChocolate sun lens$399
Ivory (added September 23, 2026)Black sun lens$399
Classic BlackClear to Grey Transitions$479

Prices are from the Starfire product data on Meta’s store; the monthly figures shown beside them are Affirm financing, not a subscription. A spare foldable charging case is $89 in five colors. For where the Starfire sits against every other Meta model, see Meta glasses prices.

Meta Starfire specs: camera, battery and weight

Meta’s spec sheet for the Classic Black pair, read September 30, 2026:

SpecMeta Starfire Kylie Edition
Camera12 MP ultra-wide, 100° field of view, 3024 × 4032 photos
Video3K at 30 fps · 1080p at 30/60 fps · 720p at 120 fps
AudioOpen-ear speakers with Adaptive Volume · 6 microphones
BatteryOver 8 hours · up to 40 more hours from the foldable case
Storage32 GB (1,000+ photos, 100+ 30-second videos)
Weight54.6 g glasses · 203 g case
ConnectivityWi-Fi 6 · Bluetooth 5.4 · iOS 17+ / Android 10+
Warranty12 months from Meta

At 54.6 g, the Starfire is heavier than a Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Gen 3 in Standard fit (51.5 g on Meta’s spec sheet), which is worth knowing because a slim frame can look lighter than it is. Meta does not publish a water rating on the Starfire page.

Fit, size and prescription lenses

The Starfire is a small frame. Meta lists lenses 48 mm wide and 32 mm tall, a 21 mm bridge, 145 mm temples and 128 mm hinge to hinge, sold in Standard and High bridge fits. Meta’s own fit advice is unusual and worth reading before you order: the frame is “designed to sit further down the nose,” so a lower position is intended. If it slides, Meta suggests adjusting the three-crank nose pads (15° of adjustment) or bending the temple tips inward by up to 5 mm.

Prescriptions are supported, with limits. Meta lists -12.00 to +2.25 total power for Starfire, the same as the Adventurer and Fury, against -12.00 to +6.00 for Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2. So stronger long-sighted prescriptions fall outside it. The gem detail is not included on prescription lenses, and Meta sells prescription Meta Glasses on meta.com in the US only. Kylie’s voice in Meta AI, and the other features

The one feature no other Meta pair has: Meta says Kylie Jenner’s voice is available for Meta AI exclusively on Starfire Kylie Edition frames. Beyond that, Meta lists the same feature set as the rest of Meta Glasses:

  1. Meta AI by voice or a dedicated action button, for questions about what you see and local recommendations.
  2. Capture: photos by voice, “dynamic photo” that picks the best of several frames, and 3K video.
  3. Live translation through Meta AI.
  4. Calls and video calls on WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
  5. Music through Spotify, which Meta notes needs an additional account and may carry fees, and live location sharing.

The glasses pair with the Meta AI app. Meta says Meta Glasses include settings and built-in safeguards to respect the privacy of people around you; check local rules before recording others.

Are the Kylie Meta glasses limited edition, and where can you buy them?

Meta does not call the Starfire a limited edition. It is part of the regular Meta Glasses range, and Meta added the Ivory colorway on September 23, 2026, describing it as “a fresh take on her signature Starfire style.” In the same announcement Meta did describe a clear-frame Meta Fury as limited edition, so the label is used when it applies.

Meta lists 17 countries where Meta Glasses are sold through its website and certified retailers: the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. At launch Meta named Best Buy, Amazon, LensCrafters and Sunglass Hut among its retailers, and in the US you can try a pair at a Meta Lab store. Meta has not published the commercial terms of the collaboration on its store or newsroom.

Cheaper style-led smart glasses

Nothing under $200 copies the Starfire: no one else has the oval shape, the gem or the voice. What you can get for less is a frame chosen for looks first that still has a camera, open-ear audio and translation. We make three, all in one 52-18-145 size with a 42 mm lens height, so a 52 mm lens against the Starfire’s 48 mm: a bigger frame, not a dainty one.

  1. OXIVUE M08C, $169 — gold or silver trim on a 42 g Italian TR90 frame, with sun, photochromic or clear lenses at the same price. The dressiest frame we make.
  2. OXIVUE M02C, $159 — our lightest camera frame at about 41 g, IP65 for rain, with the “Hey Cyan” visual assistant.
  3. OXIVUE M08, $149 — the plain rectangular frame, 42 g, the lowest price in the line.

Each has an 8 MP camera (lower than the Starfire’s 12 MP), open-ear audio and real-time translation in 40+ languages through the HeyCyan app, which needs a free sign-up but no Meta or social-media account and no subscription. None has a display, and none takes prescription lenses, which rules them out if you need your prescription in the frame. Prices are list; one pair is currently $50 off at checkout, applied automatically. For more frame shapes and finishes, see stylish smart glasses, and every OXIVUE spec sits on the comparison page.

Bottom line

The Kylie Jenner Meta glasses are the Meta Starfire Kylie Edition: a slim oval Meta camera pair, $399 in three colorways and $479 with Transitions, with Meta AI in Kylie’s voice and a prescription range that stops at +2.25. If that shape and that voice are what you want, buy it from Meta or a Meta retailer. If you want a dressier pair of camera glasses without the price, the OXIVUE M08C at $169is the one we would start with; US orders arrive in 5–9 business days, with free shipping from $99 and a 2-year frame warranty.
