Chapter 05 — The story
M08E is no longer in production. Every pair already shipped is still on warranty.
M08E was our single experiment with a polycarbonate frame — a lighter, IPX4 splash-rated take on the napkin sketch. It found its readers. It just never quite belonged to the acetate language the rest of the manual is written in.
So we're closing this chapter. The Milan studio is consolidating around the frame Oliver drew first — hand-poured acetate, hand-finished hinges — and around the M14 silhouette that followed it. M08, M02C, M08C and M14 continue. M08E does not.
If you already own an M08E, nothing changes for you. It stays on our two-year international warranty, and we'll service it for as long as you wear it. Some chapters were always meant to be short.
